The production of edge banding by calender involves mixing and preprocessing raw materials such as PVC , calcium carbonate, and plasticizers in proportion, then conveying them through a screw feeder into a calender with roller temperature controlled at 160-190°C. The materials are extruded and plasticized by rollers through calendering.
The production of edge banding strips by a casting machine involves mixing polymer raw materials such as PVC and PE according to a formula, melting and plasticizing them in a screw extruder at 170-200°C, casting them into a sheet melt at a speed of 5-30m/min through a T-shaped die head, rapidly solidifying them by attaching to a cooling roll at 15-30°C
The edge banding strip printing production line enables efficient production through an automated process. PVC or PET substrates are fed into the line, undergo gravure/flexographic printing, infrared hot air drying, surface lamination or embossing, and are finally cut and wound into finished products by a slitting and winding machine.
